Ike Restructures Deal

This is the second year in a row he has done this. Nice to have players willing to help the team, Ike has been a great mid round find. Basically, he converted some of this years salary to signing bonus, which is split over the length of the deal. He will get the same amount of money, just over a period of time.

Man, the steelers really broke the bank with silverback/ben/troy. I guess we'll find out if it was worth it over the next few years.

John Harris, of The Tribune-Review, reports Pittsburgh Steelers CB Ike Taylor, for the second consecutive year, has restructured his contract. He reduced his base salary to $3.5 million and his agent, Joel Segal, referred to the restructuring as minor. He has two years remaining on his deal.
