What's the story with this Chery kid? Where does he fall into the big scheme of receivers this draft?

My gawd they get a little lucky w/ Ike from La-L so they're dispatching scouts there? What's next - a scout to Tiffin to find a replacement for Nate W??

I just reviewed nfldraftcountdown.com - this Cherry guy isn't even listed on their top 57 WR list.

This does not mean anything. Whoever heard of Fast Willey before the draft or James Harrison for that matter. Evaluating talent in tiny schools is an art that the Steelers have perfected. 8-)

Do you consider North Carolina (FWP) & Silverback (Kent) tiny???

Okay, that was not my point, good talent off the radar from small schools like where Ike and Nate came from and big schools that had Fast Willie rottening on the bench. I bet WP did not show up on any other team's draft boards.

interesting that they brought this kid to pittsburgh as well as going there.

Ed Bouchette, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports the Pittsburgh Steelers are scheduled to meet with University of Louisiana-Lafayette WR Jason Chery Wednesday, April 15.
