Summers is someone of interest. I like what I've seen of Carey!

Levy was probably looked at as a 3-4 ILB? A down hill, attack, get me off the field for 3rd down player. Could be a good later round selection. Gotta love those guys that can run and hit. They have a home on coverage units if nothing else.

The two biggest players in this draft Herman Johnson and Loadholt are enormous road graders. Johnson weighed 15 lbs when he was born :o . Gilbert is an athletic freak of nature. There is a clip on youtube of him jumping out of a pool. He can bull rush and use his speed to defeat pass protection. Summers is a bruising running back and very hard to tackle. He's not a blocking fullback. We need CB,WR and DL more than OT in my opinion.

Does anyone out there know how many guys, who visited the Stillers, actually were drafted by them??? It all seems like such a smokescreen.

Last year they drafted two guys who they brought in. Also, the 1st round pick is almost always someone they've brought in. It wasn't last year because Mendenhall wasn't supposed to be there.

Ed Thompson, of Scout.com, reports the Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants, St. Louis Rams, Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers were among the teams to interview University of Oregon CB Jairus Byrd at the NFL Scouting Combine.

University of Oregon CB Jairus Byrd (groin) was not able to work out at the NFL Scouting Combine or his Pro Day because of a groin pull. He worked out during a personal Pro Day earlier this month, and he was able to showcase his quickness and agility. However, his 40-yard dash times were higher than expected

Ed Thompson, of Scout.com, reports Oregon State OT Andy Levitre has visited with the Buffalo Bills, New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns, San Diego Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Ed Thompson, of Scout.com, reports 12 NFL teams set aside time to formally meet with Oregon State OT Andy Levitre at the NFL Combine. The Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans, Carolina Panthers, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, San Diego Chargers, New York Jets, New York Giants and Oakland Raiders all interviewed him.

Note: Levitre is fairly short for an OT, and probably projects as a guard in the NFL
