Mclovin's mock for you to mock
McLovin's first mock for you to mock:
The first thing you can mock is the idea that Colbert will trade out of first round back into the second round and get an extra 3rd round pick. I know he's never done that but I'm hoping he gets a haul of players something like below:
2A Jarron Gilbert DE San Jose ST. 6'5 280 True 3-4 DE star at combine...all out hustler type steelers would love
2B Brian Robiske-WR OSU I'm not sold on Sweed. Will Steelers extend Holmes?
3A Jamon Meredith-OT SC-Project at LT. Starks has not yet signed long term deal
3B Asher Allen-DB UGA-Came out as a junior...living in ATL I've seen him play at several home games...swagger is there
3C Antoine Caldwell-C Alabama--play him at guard for a year or groom behind Hartwig. Eric Wood is my Center but he'll be gone early round 2..steelers will take one of top 6 centers this year.
4 Roy Miller. DT Tex 6'1 300--Defensive MVP in Fiesta Bowl against Ohio St...6'1 300 all out hustler true NT.
5. Jasper Brinkley-LB-SC I don't see him lasting past 4th given his strong showing at combine but I'm hoping this Kirkland clone is a Steeler
6. Victor Hunter-DE/OLB Oregon St 6'2 240. Destroyed Pitt in Sun Bowl had 11 tlks and 4 sacks that game. He's all out hustler type not great athlete. Good on special teams. I'm not sold on Bruce Davis
7. Quan Cosby-WR Texas--he's only 5'9 and already 26 having played baseball but this guy just stood out to me against OSU. He'd be a nice slot man and return man as well.
Ok guys let me have your thoughts...

Only address OL in 3rd pick and only 1 out of 4 top picks? If anything happens like this I am gonna quit watching the NFL
Re: Mclovin's mock for you to mock
Ok...not off to a good start.....Caldwell and Meredith solid developmental prospects. I just don't see a rookie like Britton being there at 32 and if he is he's not going to unseat Starks at LT! Eric Wood or Alex Mack could start at a guard spot but Mack could be a first round pick. To pick a center in the first round is stupid given how deep the center class is this year.

i don't get how an intelligent fan could say the Steelers wouldn't at least consider selecting the best overall center in the draft with the rich heritage that position has held over the years in Pgh. Rambo-biske is an interesting selection. He could make Hines Ward expendable this same time next season if his cap# is to high. That is of course if you believe in Limas, like me.

Tell that to Colbert...he's the one who brought in Sean Mahan and Justin Hartwig
