So speculates Peter King this morning. I know it's a business. I know the players want their props. But can you imagine going from first to worst? I gotta think there's another team out there willing to offer him 500k less over the course of 3-4 years to play for them--why wouldn't you take *that* deal rather than go play for crappy Detroit?

McFadden along with DRC, Antrelle Rolle and Adrian Wilson a nice secondary for the cards. Whiz will take all the Steeler FAs he can get his hands on

For what it's worth Schfetter is reporting that the Steelers want to make an effort to re-sign McFadden given that he's gotten past the first wave of signings. I still think it's a long shot the Steelers re-sign him given the assaholic decision to give Kemo $4 mil per and with Whiz surely looking for any way to exact so slight revenge by signing a starter off the Super Bowl Champs.
