Please no more articles or grading by this moron. If this is the best Steelers analysis on the web, complete sentences and coherent sentences would probably help out. If you need someone who is literate to write player grades, I'm more than willing to step in. Otherwise, keep this garbage off the page would you please?
When did Moore become the primary punt returner?

Hey Mailman, do not let this asswipe discourage you. Keep writing I though your grading analysis was spot on.

you people are so pathetic that you think you are better than everyone on this site. HAHAHHAHA!!! You guys are pathetic losers trying to bash other Steeler fans. I don't find Steeler fans that bash their own brothers or sisters is considered a good fan. Get off the site if you want to try and bring down Steeler fans. Stupid asses you guys are. Good article Mailman. If you guys think you are so smart and fucking sophisticated, why don't you write an article yourself? Too pussy to write one and get criticized huh? haha!

Pretty strong words. I might not have always agreed with The Mailman, but I have always found his remarks well reasoned and thought provoking. If you are looking for better grammar and more coherent sentences, perhaps you are better off at Si.com. Get the Super Bowl package while you're there, enjoy the towel.

I have to say, those grades were EXTREMELY friendly.
In no way do Ben and Holmes deserve A's. Ben had some atrocious games, and his holding onto the ball didn't always help. Yeah, he had some great games in the playoffs against VAUNTED pass D's such as Arizona and San Diego .
In a select few games, holmes showed very little effort (Jacksonville comes to mind), not all of us forgot that. Holmes also had some key drops in some games.
And how the fuck does NOONE on the o line get a D or lower? That is fucking ridiculous.
I'm sure plenty of people will torch me about how the Steelers won the super bowl and Ben is a god and such. I don't care.
This is a very poor article, and it would be a shame to see Anthonyc20 go this alone.

I've been on this site for a long time. I might not agree with Mill's articles but at least they make sense and relate to the Steelers.
How did Holmes get an A? I like the guy, but after a stupid drug arrest and a lackluster season he deserved no higher than a B/B+. Ben was awful at times this season, particularly in the first half of games, I am a big supporter of Ben as well but this wasn't his best season pre-playoff. If this article is covering playoff grades, it would make more sense.
For the record I'm happy to write anything and I would openly welcome any critiques of anything I write, especially if it isn't any good. My ability or lack thereof to write is a moot point. I'm happy to do a real season grading that makes sense and actually reflects what happened on the field if I am allowed. Feel free to bash me if I ever write something of this quality, thats the point of free speech.
Mill should be doing the grades, this writing quality and poor evaluation shouldn't be tolerated on the "hardest hitting steeler analysis on the web"

I'd be interested in seeing that.

I enjoyed the read...mailman, it is tough to be to critical when you are floating on the sweet victory of being the best in the game for the rest of the winter, fall and summer...I am super pleased with the Stiller season and feel that overall the grades were fine...i enjoyed separation on bergers punting from his tackling...etc...fu*k the haters...you can critique without just ignorantly bashing...
if i were a talent evaluator...my grades would be a little lower for parker...maybe c+...probably mostly because of the injury...he looks like he lost confidence hitting holes...which we could blame on the O line...and they probably deserve slightly lower grades...but it is hard to grade any of them accurately when they do not do simple things that work...like establish a run out of the I...I really think my biggest problems with the grades were for McHugh and Davis' blocking...they were pretty consistently horrible...still, the Stillers could run out of the I successfully and were seldom attempting to do so...they cannot run screens with their line...but quick hitting sweeps and quick slants did work...
I think for the year Holmes wand Ben are B to B+....Ben cut way down on his mistakes...and can really step it up in crucial moments...but he disappears for long stretches in the middle of the game...he has the potential to put some of these games in better positions much earlier...Holmes just plain loses focus for stretches of games...but he has the potential to step it up...i really am interested to see how he responds to the success...he needs to stay hungry or he will be like so many other ego inflated receivers out there that hurt their team more than help them...
anyway...i enjoyed reading the grades so I could debate them...we can all agree to be individuals and not haters!

I can't believe how people get all worked up over shit on this site sometimes. Guess it happens everywhere, just stings a little bit more when its pertaining to the steelers and you have to share your love of a great team with complete idiots (anthonyc). Oh well...
Hey mailman, good grades. At a time when its been over a month for an article on here it was just nice to read something new. I would have to agree with the Ben grade. If it weren't for him, we wouldn't have won those games...even if he did it in unneccesary dramatic fashion. Made for a great super bowl.
OL...would have to agree to lower the grades a little. Up until the end of the season and playoffs, they were just horrible.
Having written all of this, it is hard to be critical of these guys. Fuck it. The Stillers won the super bowl in fantastic fashion!!! Give 'em all A's (except Arians but he doesn't count).
