Is Hartwig good enough?
Or do they take the kid from Cal. @C if he is there? My leaning is that Hartwig is good enough @C and we have bigger needs at OG and OT that we pass on a C to draft OG and OT. Or do you think JH is weak enough and the kid from Cal. is good enough that they go the other way?

Re: Is Hartwig good enough?
I believe Hartwig has played guard in the past. Could be moved over if necessary.
Re: Is Hartwig good enough?
Keep Hartwig at C and add Mack at G. Move Mack when Hartwig is done. It would be refreshing to have a G with a brain.
How many times does Kemo stand there and miss the jail break all around him. (too many)

Re: Is Hartwig good enough?
we obviously go OT/OG (in no particular order) with our first two picks.
I suspect our #1 will come from this group: Mack, Britton, Robinson and/or Unger. Any of these studs will be an improvement over our current POS line. I think we pick up two OL with our first two picks, then go DL with our third. If there's a stud DL available with our second, we could go OL/DL/OL with our first three, but I prefer OL/OL/DL.

Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports University of California C Alex Mack will not participate in any drills during the NFL Scouting Combine because of an ankle injury. He will interview with teams during the Combine and will work out at the school's Pro Day.

Re: Is Hartwig good enough?
I think overall, Hartwig played well this year. Let's face it, he was a GIANT improvement over Sean Mahan. The only thing I saw that sometimes his shotgun snapping was a little off the mark, but I think he improved with that as the year went on. We have bigger fish to fry at O-line...

Don't be shocked is Steelers go DL or BPA with 1.32
This draft is deep with talented centers who can be had in the 2nd and 3rd. That said, I wouldn't be upset if Mack or Robinson was had at 1.32.
Then again, you may be able to pick up a draft choice and move down a few spots into the 2nd and still get Mack. Just a thought.
