This may effect your vote:

Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports the St. Louis Rams would save $6 million in salary cap space if they release or trade OT Orlando Pace; and would save $8 million in salary cap space if they release or trade WR Torry Holt.

Alot of this depends on how much salary these two want. If they will play on the cheap, then it may be worth using them for a stop gap. However, neither of these two are worth 6mm.

I would go for pace since he would help the O the most. Good O lineman like that would be a great asset to the Stillers.

Wasn't Pace injured last year?

If he is healhty, then absolutely.
If not, obviously, no.

Just read some stuff on Pace...and it is not good.
1) He only played in 23 games over the past three seasons.
2) He is 33 years old.
3) He is scheduled ot earn $5 mill, $7 mill, & 8 mill.

Egads...NO!!!

i dont see why we dont go pay jordan gross 10mil a year to protect ben for the next 5 yrs.
we paid starks 7mil as a frickin backup. get rid of starks and kemos salary and plug in a all pro at lt and a draft pick or stapleton at lg!

unless you buy a pro bowl lt , there wont be one protecting ben for the next 5 yrs considering where we are drafting.

everyone says its not the steeler way, ect.... but we have not had 2 time sb champion franchise qb making 100 mil sitting behind one of the wortst lines in the nfl durring the free agent era either, so do we really know the steeler way under the current circumstances?

the steelers never paid a player 100 million either, so the steeler way is bendable under the rite circumstances and paying ben 100 million is an investment they would like to protect. Usually when you buy 100k diamond , you dont mount it on sterling silver!

2 mill for Pace. Take it or leave it Orlando. Your chance to play on a 7 time super bowl winner
