Teary-eyed Hines..

Postby kapone » Mon Feb 02, 2009 11:31 am

...Hines was pretty shook up after the game. I was a little concerned; I know his knee was killing him. Nevertheless, I was afraid he was gonna say something I and we don't want to hear just yet. Not yet.

Side note: My son is a varsity football player...always afraid to let people see him cry. He'll keep his helmet on, or will drape a towel over his head. When he saw Hines crying last night he said, "Hines is such a tank." In layman's terms, that means Hines is awesome.

I agree.

Hines was on First Take this morning and he said he has plenty of football left in him.

Im happy he has taken on his leader role with the Wr Corps. Awhile back everytime the Steelers took a WR he saw it as a slap in the face. I think now he sees it as the FO trying to help him out. Love the fact he loves being called Papa Smurf. Hope he coaches when he hangs it up.
