Rooneys deliver gameball to Obama
http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/09021/943199-66.stm
Dan and his son Jim delivered a gameball to Obama from the AFCCG on Wednesday at a dinner....Rooney also said that "he never has been as close with a president as he is with Obama, whom he calls a friend."
Figured some people might have some interesting comments about this

Obama is a fan of whoever or whatever will score him the most political points at the moment, and will say and do anything so you believe it's true.
That's what has gotten him where he is today and is typical of his party's leadership.
Dan the Man is duped into believing that he's "more like a friend" because the weather is still fair...
but it's going to be YOU and ME that will have to clean up after "the party"...
Wha make you tink I won cutchu, mang?!?

Oh yea, it's only HIS party that uses these lame, insincere tricks. Like when McCain said he cited players from the Steelers to the Vietcong when in his book he said he cited players from the Packers as fellow officers. And, at the time of his capture, he wouldn't even be aware of who the players were on the Steelers as they had not become famous yet.
Pure liar. But it's only BO's party that does it.

Just another accolade Obama receives for literally having done nothing to this point.

I think this is a shrewd move by the Rooneys even if it is not sincere (which I suspect it IS).
Think of how the Stiller players (especially the African American ones) and Tomlin must feel about this gesture...net positive, definitely and creates goodwill and motivationals tools galore.

The multi-million dollar contracts don't create goodwill. I highly doubt that many blacks in the NFL still think the man is holding them down.

He received A game ball...I would assume some player or players receieved the proverbial game ball after the game, but no mention of it in this article

Re: Rooneys deliver gameball to Obama
I find all the "Obama is going to destroy the country" comments hilarious considering the last eight years. Have you all been asleep? Bush just ran the bus into the ditch, now you get to watch a REAL leader put this country on the right path! And, Obama has been president for about 3 days yet he's still made at least 3 huge decisions.
