OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Postby StainlessStill » Mon Jan 19, 2009 2:50 am

Fucking AWESOME. Crowd energy was through the ROOF tonight at Heinz. The whole stadium actually shook and they were saying the sound traveled through the City. Take all the games at Three Rivers and any rock concert, and this game easily shatters that noise factor. Had the time of my life.. all thanks to muh Stillers and the fans. Stiller fans are top notch and make the experience worthwhile TIME AND TIME AGAIN.

Hard Hat to TROY! and Ben, for sure. Woodley and Heath had a good game also.

Lets go Cardinal hunting this time around, going after that sitting duck, Kurt Warner. *I feel bad for him*.

I was actually dissapointed by the way the crowd was taken out of it a few times. Strangley quiet when the score was 16-14. I thought Melwelde's 3 punt catches, with someone draped over him, would draw some ooohs of fright from the crowd but they were quiet each time. I was listening on TV however.

I've been to lots of games, but the crowd energy level of this one smashes them to dirt. (noteable games were '97 Championship, Monday Night Games, Sunday Night Games, '02 Playoff win against the Brownies (Fu), and last week against SD... all loud games that this topped for me.)

Of course we were taken out of the game at times with bullshit penalties and with Bullshit Baltimore points that never should of been rewarded. Before Troy's pick, there was indeed panic in the stands of a 16-14 game that should of at least been 28-7 at that given point. The feeling was here we go again in a Championship game, but everyone knew we deserved this win and completely outplayed Baltimore of every phase.. but the stadium indeed had a weird feeling. Troy took care of it.

it always creeps me out how quiet a crowd is when play resumes after someone gets carted off the field on a stretcher. the first couple plays before everyone can get excited (or back from the bathroom).

crowds are great though. i love watching the fans during the replay of a great play. they'll all be like :o until the catch and then they'll all erupt :celebrate:

YEAH keep in mind both Ravens TD's were aided by P.I. penalties that put the ball on the 1 yard line. One of the calls was complete bullshit by the way
