Cardinals linebacker suffered bicep injury
Cardinals linebacker suffered bicep injury

By Chuck Finder, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
TEMPE, Ariz. -- Cardinals outside linebacker/defensive end Travis LaBoy, the team's third-leading sacker who started 12 games this season before a late-season ankle injury rendered him a passing-down sub, sustained a hazy bicep injury in Arizona's NFC Championship game Sunday, Coach Ken Whisenhunt said today.
It's too early to tell if it's an ailment that could prohibit LaBoy from playing against the Steelers in two weeks in Super Bowl XLIII.
"Travis LaBoy did something to his bicep," Whisenhunt said. "We aren't sure if it's a sprain or if ... it's a tear, we'll get an MRI on that. But other than that, we came out of the game fairly well. We'll see as the week progresses. There are a couple of guys that maybe have a few nicks that we're getting checked on."
Neither Whisenhunt nor the team officially released those names yet today. But starting receiver Anquan Boldin (hamstring), LaBoy (ankle), tight end Ben Patrick (knee) and punter Ben Graham (groin) played Sunday after being listed as questionable and being limited in practice last week.
More details in tomorrow's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Re: Cardinals linebacker suffered bicep injury
Thanks for the heads up. Not sure what they have for backups a LB. Unless it is a tear he should be back.
It will be interesting to see Boldin's status.
After the shouting match on the sideline with the OC
Plus I read an article that he was out of the stadium before many of the players made it to the locker room.
What an idiot. He has cost himself millions on the FA market by showing he is not a team player.
If he stays in the crap house with Whiz it may be one less receiver we have to worry about.
