Who's your AFCCG MVP?
Who's your MVP of the game?
Re: Who's your AFCCG MVP?
Troy P. overall had a solid game, but 3 momentum swinging plays stood out. busting up flacco's qb sneak on 4th and 1, stopping flacco for a 7 yard loss, and the game winning INT return for TD that sealed the deal
not to mention played through an injury and still managed a standout performance. someone give this guy the hard hat

That terrible roughing the kicker call. He fell down and the ref threw a flag.

Whoever put Berger's name on that list needs to be bitch slapped.
Re: Who's your AFCCG MVP?
Berger actually did make a touchdown saving tackle. He still sucks though.

Read the game thread and you'll understand why berger is on it.

Why for booming a punt a whopping 21 yards to give the ratbirds excellent field position in the 4th quarter? The defense had to bail us out yet again. They should have had an open tryout for a punter a month ago. Now were stuck with this bum in the biggest game of the year. Thank god Sepulvada will be back for next year. Pretty sad when your quarterback is the only punter on the team to pin them inside their own 20.

he did hold well on skippy's field goals and extra points, and caused more fumbles than harrison, our DMVP
Re: Who's your AFCCG MVP?
I submit a write-in vote for Willie Colon.
Uh....
Seriously, it was awesome to hear Phil "I love Ray Lewis" Simms go on & on (& on) about how Troy "does not look 100% to me" and then see Troy:
-leap over the pile & stop Flacco on 4th-&-inches
-sack Flacco
&
-intercept Flacco...AND return it for a touchdown.
If Troy was indeed only at 80%...holy crap!!!...I can not wait to see him at 100%.

Have to give game MVP to Troy.
However, the defensive effort was out of this world.
Only crap play was Taylor Interference call in the end zone. He was way out of position on that play. All he has to do is turn around and he knocks it down.
That game was about two plays away from being shutout.

I actually have to wonder how anybody besides Troy could be on this list...
His key plays were head and shoulders above the rest, and the pick-6 to seal the game was just icing on the cake!!
Wha make you tink I won cutchu, mang?!?

i agree that berger doesn't belong on a list of possible game MVPs, but as others have mentioned, he did make a touchdown-saving tackle and did a great acting job to draw a roughing flag.
and while that one punt was pretty bad... at least he made some contact. think if he had missed the ball entirely and the ravens run it in. i laughed when i saw him roll his eyes at the boos.
anyway, my vote went to troy.

especially on that fourth and 1 play against a sneaking flacco. literally above everyone's head and shoulders.

Re: Who's your AFCCG MVP?
Greetings guys! First post but I've actually been cruising this site for about 5 years.
Easily Troy Polamalu is the MVP of this game. The man was the maniac that we remember so fondly when he's healthy. Also, I agree with the Phil Simms comments. I used to like his commentary but yesterday he got on my last freakin nerve.
Great to be posting here, I look forward to great football discussion.

Re: Who's your AFCCG MVP?
This is a tough one, but I'm gonna have to go with our boy Troy.
He played very well after looking shaky against SD and, as someone said, he had three momentum changing plays in the game.
Overall a solid effort.

Re: Who's your AFCCG MVP?
I loved Troy and he's a very deserving MVP for this game, glad to see his back, but how bout some love for Ben too. There were some awful drops that hurt his stats but the guy just keeps making plays out of nothing and had no TO's for the second straight game, and the Ravens are no slouch. He has played rock solid so far in the playoffs and I believe he had as much to do with us winning yesterday as anyone. I say Troy and Ben coMVP's last night.
Anyways, WERE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL!!!!! HELL YEAH!!! FIRST TO SIX BABY!!!!
