You are dead on with the analysis that LaWood needs to make them pay for doubling Silverback. IF they continue to do that, Woodley must rack up the sacks, and make them rethink everything at halftime. Jamie-H also has to make sure he fits flacco every time he is rushed and gets single coverage. And if Woodley and Harrison are both on the field, yet neither rushing the passer, it better be the end of the game with the Steelers up by 21.

Great article Mill I have enjoyed reading your work on this site for years. Forcing Flacco into turnovers with constant pressure from Woodie and Silverback is the key to being able to play in two weeks. I would just like to see one fourth down conversion for a change. You think any other team might want to steal the great mind of BA for their coach when we get the sixth ring?

{Keeping Balt off balance. As noted last week, if Arians, the supreme dullard that he is, is going to roll out another vanilla, bland as skim milk game plan, it’s gonna be an ugly, tight ballgame. Blandly plunging Parker up the gut and having BenRoth take 5-step drops amidst whale-shit pass patterns, will be a recipe for disaster. Unbelievably, Arians, for the first time since the season opener, actually shook things up a bit last week and kept the SD Bolts off balance. Of course, it must happen again this week. This is the playoffs; it’s do or die. Boots, rolls, reverses, slip screens, shovel passes (hasn’t been one all season) -- all must be considered and ready to run. Of course, nothing should be done in a grab-bag fashion. If Balt is overpursuing, then adjust and call a play that exploits the over-pursuit. }

Mill;

Did Arians send you a copy of the game plan on say Wednesday? What a lack of imagination. We only had one or two plays that even resembled what Tenn used to gash the Ravens before Johnson got hurt.

I knew FWP was not going to get 100yds rushing. However, what better way to guarantee it than by virtually no use of a FB? Again we with inspite of Arians with Ben's play making ability. If we had Maddox or Stewart as a QB this would have been another home loss in the AFCC for the Steelers.

I agree on that one. If Ben wasn't here, we would have been screwed. He has done it again and I hope he can win another super bowl for this wonderful franchise. :subngtowl:
