20 yards passing followed by 15 yards rushing!

Postby logjammin » Thu Jan 15, 2009 8:30 pm

It had been so long between games that I didn't even think of this until now, but...

The Stillers d gave up only 20 net yards passing against Cleveland in the last regular season game, and then gave up only 15 yards rushing in their 1st playoff game. That's pretty good.

pretty funny cause i told my friend he was stupid to think sproles was going to have the same kind of game vs the steelers as he did vs indy. he obviously doesnt know the fate of any running backs that visit heinz field

Yea.......... totally.........

Like week 4, McLain 16 carries, 65 yards, TD, 3 receptions, 26 yards = 91 yards, TD

Week 11, LT 18 carries, 57 yards, TD, 3 receptions, 45 yards = 102 yards, TD

Week 14, Tashard Choice, 22 carries, 88 yards, 5 receptions, 78 yards = 166 yards

Last week, Sproles, 11 carries, 15 yards, 5 receptions, 91 yards, TD = 106 yards TD

Being at home means nothing, Ravens are going to pound it all day. With McLain, they can pound it against you.

those aren't great numbers minus tashard choice. besides all those resulted in a steelers win, thats what matters most

and other than one play where the defense gave up a garbage score, sproles was shut down

PA Titan, not one of those running backs had over 100 yards on the ground, not sure what your point is,allot of those receptions are cheap dumpoffs cause the Q/B is running for his life against the best dee in the NFL,sproles got allot of his in garbage time, jump on with the black and gold :sushootem: :celebrate:
