Rich Erenberg was a RB in the 80's from Collegate. If I remember right his career ended with a neck or spine injury

Erenberg was one of the toughest SOB's to ever put on a Steeler uni. Number 24 will probably best be remembered for playing with a bloody broken nose against Miami in a snow bowl. I think he made the cover of Sports Illustrated the following week. The Steelers have had a rich tradition of players like Erenberg (i.e. Lloyd, Hines) that dates back to the Rocky and Webster days and probably even before that (before my time).

I too fear the Ratbirds will try to injure our players too. As long as they protect Ben, we'll be okay. I worry a little about our secondary too. Those long bombs can kill us if we let 'em. Hopefully a healthy and ready Polamalu will help with that. I'm also a little worried about McClain. He ran on us a little too easily last time. We gotta stop him.

I want a win, but I am rooting for a blow out to stop these damn Ratbird fans from being the most annoying fans around. Send them home please!!!

Mailman good posting and always look forward to the who's who from years gone by of the black and gold. Key to game will be can our outside linebackers get to Flake'o while our inside linebackers pick-up Todd Heap leaking out into the flat before the rush gets there. :subngtowl:

good article still mailman. I want this game to be a blowout as well. It will be a game between Big Ben and Faggo. We will see Flacco do what Ben did his rookie year in the AFC championship of 2004. Pittsburgh needs to go into the game confident, strong, and focused and even more so disciplined. The defense will show what Flacco is really made of! GO STEELERS!! :sufootballhelmet:

Bruce Arians must have had Carey Davis in some fantasy league last week. Why else do you worry about getting him touches? Give the ball to Casey Hampton at the goal line instead of Davis. At least he would have some push.

I believe they tried that in camp as casey was clamoring to give it a try. The ILB's kept blowing him as he was no good at it.
