Re: Steelers Injury situation
Any injury is bad but I guarantee you the Baltimore report looks a lot worse.
I thought Troy a stomach bug. this was the first I heard of a calf injury.
Go STEELERS

then the paper this AM said a GROIN - so, what is it???
Re: Steelers Injury situation
Tomlin has a little Belicheck in him with his lack of details on his injury reports. How hard is it to say Troy did not have a stomach issue or Troy did have a stomach issue. Why not start your sentence something like, "Contrary to local post game media reports, Troy did not have a stomach issue, rather he pulled his calf muscle during pre-game warm-ups." McLovin' may be in the minority on this but he feels Tomlin is getting a bit of an attitude case in point his flip response to a reporter yesterday when he was asked to evaluate his improvement as a coach from last year to this. It was a fair question that didn't merit a flip response such as the one he gave about his job evaluating the players and the ending comment about the reporter's editor. The guy was just doing his job. Lighten Tough guy Tomlin!

I saw the groin as well after I posted.
The good news is that both reports said he should play and not have any effects.

Re: Steelers Injury situation
Troy's "calf injury" is a bait ploy to make the Birdies gameplan for Flacco to look Troy's way and pick on him more often. To our genius-ism, Troy will respond with 3 picks, 2 for Touchdowns.

Hines even said sitting out that one day does dividends for his body. Smart move by Coach in recognizing what his players need.

Good point. Hines, Townsend, & Smith are all older guys.
Parker had a lot of carries and hits Sunday
Day off might do them well.

Re: Steelers Injury situation
Who cares if Tomlin is vague. Injury reports are bs anyhow...the NFL insists on them to placate gamblers. No other sport does anything like this. I don't blame Belidick, tomlin or anyone else for remaining vague. Why give the other team useful info?
