Yeah, I think Fast Willie uses the fullback like a seeing eye dog. He has zero vision himself. With a good line in front of him he can use that great speed, but having to find his own way isn't a strength.

Good analysis.

I like the fullback in the back field as well. Lets you pick up a line backer or corner if the defense over loads or shoots a gap.

I also hope that with any run game at all we can do one other important thing. That is to throw short passes to Moore and Parker in space.

Going to the I is one thing, but changing your whole blocking scheme is a totally different animal. That will never happen for the playoffs. And Davis is a better FB than McHugh. McHugh can throw some crushing blocks at times, but he's too tall and too big to be a consistent lead blocker for Willie.

I can't agree with this statement. I think the football game against SD showed he is just getting healthy and that was why his numbers were down this year. I do think he is much better with a fullback or lead blocker.

Completely disagree, here. Just look at last Sunday's performance compared to the chances Davis has had to do the same and you'll see why

I think the line did a good job, and if they play well Parker's speed makes him very dangerous. I do agree that health makes a big difference for any player, but especially with a player that relies on speed.
