Remember the Mendenhall!

Postby PGHeaven » Mon Jan 12, 2009 8:17 am

And bring Ray boo hoo Lewis on! I would love to see a Steeler take Ray Ray Out of the Game with a crunch block that will make the eternal highlight reel!!!!

WHO IS THAT STEELER? WHO WILL FLATTEN IHOP Lewis like a day old pancake!??? WHO IS THE MAN in BLACK & GOLD WHO WILL SMACK DOWN THE SELF RIGHTOUS THUG????

If there were any justice it would be Justin Hartwig, just because if he did it would be the most humiliating.

I think if anyone is going to do it, it will be Kemo.(I think McHugh or Stapleton has the nasty in them to pull it off as well) But I will go with Kemo.

Have to root for our own blocking Sampson named Hines.

He's already got one jawbone of an ass on the trophy mantle this year...

True. Now that the "bounty" will expire next Sunday Maybe Hinesy will return to his blocking ways. I would love to see Smiley grinning ear to ear on a Ray Ray pancake block

The other fellows prediction of Kemo is pretty good too, but I am thinking some sort of crackback will have to take place

Hines is the only guy on our offense with that kind of pop in his hits.

McLovin' loves the enthusiasm but two flaws with your post. First, nobody on the team will be looking to extract revenge for Mendenhall with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line and second Heath may in fact be one of the worst blocking tight ends in football and has no skill level near capable of taking out Ray Lewis. McLovin sick of Arians wasting this guys receiving talents by keeping him in to get trucked by LBs and safeties.

My vote would be for Hines.

However, who really cares as long as it happens.

This is a huge side note. I would just rather see up put a body on him and win the game. The key may be the run game up the middle. Lewis is good a pursuit and jumping on the pile. A few years ago we had a fair amount of success running right at Lewis with quick hitters.

The two Steelers who used to lay out Ray Ray the most are gone: Kreider and Bussy. Both of those guys had shots that leveled Ray. Loved that.

Hear you. McHugh cant get low enough and Carey Davis....plplplpl.. carey has enough problems getting hit let alone administering one. Tell ya though..Kemo catches that thug on a trap block and yeah boy!

However..it would be a miracle in my mind for Heath to catch a quick slant and FUCKING LEVEL Ray Ray

Kemo is too slow to catch Ray in a trap block, but..
If Hines hits Ray, Kemo could step on his head.

I just watched both Baltimore games again last night. Ray Ray ROCKED Mendenhall. That guy is old as dirt but he still lays the wood.

Bump...

I thought of this thread after McGahee was "carted" off last night.

I got a lot of mixed emotions on that one...

I loved the hit, and don't mind somebody getting knocked out of the game. That's football. I don't like to see it on a backboard and immobilized. But that is the NFL. Thank GOD he's not crippled from that hit, or Clark for that matter.

Maybe Sweed would have been the guy???

Too bad he dropped the easy TD catch. However, his block on Ivy was a thing of beauty.

:sufootballhelmet: A TOTAL DECLEATER!!!!! :sufootballhelmet:

Had to have gotten some of that from Hines. Our defensive guys had to love that hit.

I watched the game he got injured in the other night, he would have been a very big part of the short yardage game rite now and we would be a much better offense because of it.
He runs low and with bigtime power when he hits the hole.
