Post game thoughts

Postby PATitanSteveCJ » Sun Jan 11, 2009 9:03 am

Not really much to say here. I told people that I would be back win or lose, the unfortunate thing is everyone is going to feel the need to personally attack me in this thread, but if that's what gets ya off, being a keyboard hero attacking people on the internet, go for it.

Titans were dominating the whole game, redzone turnovers will kill you.

That was garbage with CJ, the guy almost got torn in half after the play was over. He stays healthy, we win that game and go who knows how far.

But he got hurt and that was pretty much that. I loved it though, CJ showed the whole nation that he is the next big thing in this league, his future is so bright I need shades.

He had over 100 first half yards against that defense, the sky's the limit for this kid.

I'm not gonna bitch about the refs or the blown delay of game, there were plenty of opportunities to make that irrelevant.

I'll probably be mostly quiet around here for awhile, not because I am humbled or embarrassed, but after the season I usually go on a bit of a hiatus from football forums and get other areas of my life in check.

To those of you who payed me respect here, thank you, I appreciate it. You gave me a new outlook on Steelers fans, and I can honestly say to the few of you who here are actually legit, respect.

Best of luck tomorrow.

Tenn had a good year, they will be back. but they got to hyped up on a good regular season. Baltimore has always played Tenn tough in fact this makes 6 straight games between the settled by 3 pts or less. Balt has won 4 of them. Baltimore doesn't quit and though they do not have a high powered offense they do no make many mistakes. Tenn made a lot of mistakes not capitilizing on opportunities. Sometimes that is worse than turning the ball over. I also think that Baltimore got to Tenn mentally at times. Tenn is not used to teams hitting them back in the face.
You too got caught up in the hype. Guaranteeing a victory in the playoffs is stupid. Bragging about how much you have won betting on them in the reg season. Well I really hope you didn't put your money where your mouth was. In the playoffs I never bet on any Steeler game because sometimes your heart is not thinking clearly. But I did bet a lot on Baltimore yesterday.
Tenn will be back next year but it will be harder because they will get a tougher schedule ad Indy won't be beat up early. I think they need another WR and TE to balance their offense. They will not be able to just run next year and I really do not think Collins' arm will take you far.
Until next year good luck

Your team had no business losing this game. That cliche that the best team always wins was just broken yesterday. Turnovers are HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE, BIGGER THAN LIFE and while your team was going for a blow-out, they decided to choke it away, kind of like what we did in your house in December. That might of been Tennessee's last horrah for some years as I don't see neither Kerry Collins OR Vince Young leading them deep anytime soon in the years to come.

You had a great squad this year that should of at least made it to the Conference Title. You were robbed, but robbed in football fashion, and maybe a little by the refs for not calling a clear delay of game.

You came in here showing none of us any respect since the day you got here, and taunted us with your presence and pictures. But this is classy, and I admire that as I would do the same. What did I tell you. NOTHING IS WON IN THE REGULAR SEASON. Our game against you meant nothing in DEC because we have homefield advantage anyway without even playing a playoff game. Thanks.

Good luck next year. :subngtowl:

You've already said it, but minus those turnovers Tennessee rolls.

Baltimore should not have scored a point yesterday.

First TD - Chris Hope is nowhere to be found even though he is help over the top.

First FG - Chris Hope falls down, even though he is help and has position to intercept the ball.

Second FG - Clock is clearly at :00 before the ball is snapped.

Losing Johnson definitely hurt. Kid would've put up 200+ on the Ravens.

Sorry that your team's season ended to those pompous, preening jackasses. Hopefully the Steelers can take care of business this afternoon and humble them again next week.

CJ, I gotta give you credit for coming back to this site, knowing that people might rip you a new one...
...actually, I think that (most) Steelers fans will give you credit for coming back here (we can be civil...when we want to be).

As far as the game goes: turnovers.

'Til next year.

Glad you had the stones to come back and eat your humble pie, CJ. Class move.

Turnovers were obviously a killer.....but the 2 hideous, pitiful misplays by "Pro Bowl" safety Piss Hope didn't help at all. Further, although no one can actually trace and prove a causal relationship, I can't help but fathom that the Bitans started to dig their own grave the day they decided to denigrate The Terrible Towel in haughty, sophmoric fashion a few weeks ago. That kind of foolish bravado and smug haughtiness told me that exact attitude was pervading that team.....and that is precisely the kind of attitude that leads to favored teams losing at home amidst sloppy, foolish blunders. We've seen it.....just ask the 1994 Stillers.

PAtitanSteveCJ,
I never responded to your trash talking before your team lost yesterday, I don't usually operate that way. Under the circumstances, I felt I had to say something after the way you came up in our site and did what you did! We don't need to rehash all your post, you know the things you said, and to try and make it out like you were some sort of respectful opposing fan is a laugh. Like I said, I don't usually operate that way, but I have no problem with guys on here ripping you a new one. You deserve everything you get.

I do respect the fact you came back on here and posted a reply. Your reply seemed genuine and very humble. I would like to think here at Stillers.com we accept all the NFL team fans with inteligent and reasonable discussions.

I think you learned your lesson.

i give you some respect for coming back and eating crow, but i don't take back anything i said. that was a response to coming here and being disrespectful especially with comments showing a lack of respect our team and posting those pictures of the towel getting stomped on. anyway, better luck next season, tough loss cause i thought the titans should have won.

javon kearse shouldn't have blown his nose into the terrible towel, he can definitely use it now to soak up his tears

Hey Titan Steve...I said it yesterday and I will say it today...go fuck yourself. Just because you came back here to eat some crow after your team lost AFTER you disrespected the Steelers and its fans, don't think for a minute that you get a pass. Fuck that. You shot your mouth off and your team lost...

Next time you troll another team's website, show some GOD DAMN respect and then maybe, you'll get some in return...
