Whoever wins the AFCCG will win the SB.

I do remember what Phily did to us last time. Our D kept them out of the endzone too, but I know it was without Westbrook.

To tell you the truth, my mind is still blowing from the Panthers getting it handed to them by Arizona. I'm a clean slate now with no opionion of what can happen!

I'm just going to worry about the Ravens.

Phila thoughts:

They are playign tremendous currently but do you honestly think a team with that record and TIEING the BUNGLES is going to win the SB? They may have their hands full playing at Arizona. I'm not counting Wizz and the Cards out after they dismantled the Panthers
Dynasty in the making..........

We have the pieces to the puzzle.

I'm more worried about having to play a coach that knows your team so well aka Whisenhunt.

This isn't week 4 of 2007...

Whizzie doesn't know this team like you think he does anymore...

...also...
You forget what the Eagles D did to use last time we plyed them.

more likely, you forget what we did to ourselves, courtesy of Arians and our own OL.

I don't think we're the same team, nor is Arians the same coach.
(that's actually hard to fathom and harder to write about Arians...)

Whiz is a good coach....and he can call a game as good as anyone. If we get that far and it's us vs AZ you can bet on the fact that Whiz will know the weaknesses of our 3-4 defense. Whether or not he can exploit them will be up to his players.

The last time we played Whiz he knew exactly how to induce Ben into making mistakes. He also figured out our defense in the 2nd half and exploited what ever he saw.

Whiz's goal the last time we met was to shut down our running game and get Ben to make mistakes. He did all of those things. He knows Ben's weaknesses better then anyone. We are a different team now, in that we have much better LB's and a healthy Hines Ward. Holmes had a career game vs the Cardinals last time we met.

I think we are counting our chickens before they hatch. We've got a red hot Ravens team to worry about first. Though I do think the Cardinals are going to beat the Eagles. If there is one thing the eagles are good at it's losing NFCC's.

I believe I mentioned that the last time was week 4 of 2007, or barely 5 months after he left his job as our OC, so sure he's going to know the team then.
Cripes, it was still entirely his offense that we were running. That's worse than Gruden playing against the Raiders in the Superbowl the year after he left...

but our last meeting was almost a full 2 seasons ago...

Yes, quite a bit.

We're only talking about what might happen, and those possibilities are more realistic than you're giving credit.
I think it's a bit of a stretch to call the banged-up Ratbirds "red hot" after they were completely outplayed and had the game butter-handed to them by the Tight-ones. Plus, we match up much better against them, and we've already beaten them twice this season...

Also, if the Cards can beat the Iggles, I would attribute it way more to all of the ex-Steeler blood in their locker room than McReid's propensity to choke!

...but that's just my little inner Steeler fan talking... ;) :subngtowl: :subngtowl:
