It'll be a dark day when he retires. Hell, he'll probably die on the sidelines before that happens. My favorite part:

Two years ago at Carolina, in the fourth quarter with Pittsburgh ahead, one of the Steelers’ defensive backs intercepted the ball and began celebrating before the play was over. LeBeau was irate. “He really got in this guy’s face and chewed him out,” recalled Ken Whisenhunt, the team’s offensive coordinator at the time and now head coach of the Arizona Cardinals. “Because he thought that that was fundamentally disrespectful to the game."

Remember the play he's talking about? I won't give it away I'll let you guess.

I looked up the Gamecenter on NFL.com and there are two possibilities. I don't remember the play, but the two players are Anthony Smith and Ike Taylor.

My money would be on "Bonehead" Smith, but I honestly never saw this game, so I can't say for sure.

Gatemouth Smith prancing like a showhorse after making a room-service pick.
LeBeau chewed him for a good five minutes before The Jaw took over.

Wonder what the FO could get for 27...............

Come on!

We all know from reading the esteemed writing on this site that LeBeau is simply the luckiest goddam motherfucker ever to walk the face of the earth.

His defense is never any good unless key offensive players are out with injury...which happens with AMAZING regularity for him.

No skill at all in the guy!

Oops! Someone doesn't have their sarcasm detector turned on.

Anyway, if you read my post, you will realize that these aren't my words...I am simply repeating what I see so often in the excellent post-game analyses on this site!

No skills, are you kidding me.

You do not spend 50yrs in the NFL by being lucky.

It will be a sad day when he retires.
Before you dismiss Dick consider the free agents we have let go that have not been nearly as good as when they were here. No doubt it takes talented players but it also takes a great scheme and Dick is a master. If he was a so-so defensive mind he would not have been retained by Tomlin.

Get a life.

Tell that to Mill, not me.

I was simply parodying him.

Jeemie;

I know where you were coming from and got the parody.

I will be at the game tomorrow and think Dick and D will confound Rivers again.
