Another main difference is that big things are EXPECTED of this team, whereas the 2005 team was written off, backed into the playoffs on a 6 seed, no team had ever won 3 playoff games on the road, etc.
We're a 2 seed now and many people's favorite to represent the AFC in SB43. Everyone likes to talk about "we don't get no respect" but a LOT of people picked the Stillers to go all the way at the start of playoffs.

Of the major sites, I haven't/hadn't seen much of anybody picking the Steelers.
