Go Miami!!!

Postby No l Gravity l » Tue Dec 23, 2008 6:29 pm

Wouldn't it be a miracle if they win next week and somehow injure Flacco/Ray Ray/Scott/Reed and pull up the upset victory against the Ratbirds in the Wildcard game? Hell it will be the closest thing to having 3 bye weeks in a row (the first one starting next week against the Browns)!!! :celebrate:

Never doubt a Parcell's team in the play-offs.

In other words, I might be the only person in the world who thinks this, but I feel that Miami beats the Ravens.

1) Pennington does not make mistakes.
2) Ray-Ray & Co. will be tired after four straight weeks of tough games (Pitt, Dal, Jax).
3) Ricky & Ronnie running rampant. (see #2)
4) Joey the Mouth HATES the Ravens!!!
5) Most importantly, I want Miami to win.

Psssst, Miami hasn't even officially made it into the playoffs, yet.

Neither have the Ravens, as a matter of fact.

I know that we're all bored since the Steelers don't really have anything left to play for for another 3 weeks, but how's about letting the playoff matchups get set before picking the games. :)

Miami can definitely knock off the Baltimore Shitbirds. I think a likely scenario is:

1) Miami takes out B-more
2) Indy destroys either SD or Denver
3) Steelers beat Miami
4) Indy wipes up Titans
5) Indy vs. Steelers AFC Title game rematch of '04-'05, which would be a great matchup as we've seen already this year.

They are in now! Let's hope they CAN beat the Rasins. Opppps, don't look now, looks like San Diego is sneaking in also!

I would rather play Miami than the Ravens. However, I don't care who you play it will be a tough game. In my opinion the AFC has 6 teams that are super Bowl capable.

Tenn and Pgh tough defenses and enough offense to be scary.
SD and Indy can score a ton on anyone
Baltimore tough D and Flacco is the real deal
Miami has shown they can beat anyone but can also be dicey.

Miami is hands down the weakest of the 6. They should have lost to the Jets yesterday had Favre not thrown is typical 3 picks in a big game.

The Ravens will feast on this team like a kid in a candy store. There is no way the Ravens lose this game IMO.
