These are two very gifted players who will be ready to contribute significantly this season. I think we will see a lot of Mendenhall in 2008.

I'd never seen Mendenhall play until the Big Ten Network aired a special on him. He has a perfect minimal fake that keeps his speed up but does enough to juke the defender. I like Willie, but I don't think he'll be around after the end of his contract.

I also like his North-South style. Like you said, minimal fake that is enough to elude a tackler but keeps himself heading up-field. Not sure about him displacing FWP that soon, but I like his style.

These guys are going to be great additions!!!

Now the front office should spend some time redoing some veteran contracts. I would like ot see McFadden, Starks and Smith's contracts redone.
