Tennessee obviously played a better game than us on Sunday. That doesn't presume that we couldn't improve on both sides of the ball and play better next time.

I'm curious to see his explanation of how Tennessee isn't that good / didn't play that well. Hopefully, he won't be under the influence of any Homer-Aid when he makes his post.

Quite the contrary...no Homer-Aid here. Don't get me wrong, the Titans kicked the Steelers ass and deserve all the props for being the #1 seed in the AFC. Congrats to them. I thought the Titans played a very good game...close to near perfect. I also saw the Steelers play a gawd-awful game...esp. Ben. Our (am I allowed to say "our"?) defense also played very mediocre. Given that, I don't think the Titans can maintain that intensity throughout the playoffs esp. against an unrelenting Ravens "D" ... and the Steelers were able to move the ball when they weren't busy trying to give the ball away...more so than, say, the Ravens allowed us to do. The Titans have already shown how a stiff defense (which we didn't have) can throw off their whole game (ala Texans). I'm not saying there 1 and done but I will be surprised if they make it to the AFC Championship game.

Having said that I would love nothing better than to meet again in Nashville for the AFCC game. Here's hoping for that! :suxfingers:

The league should fine that type of behavior?? Are you serious? You went into Tennessee waving around your little gay pride pee rag and Lendale did what anyone would have done. You had it coming and you got what you deserved. Quit your crying and get over yourselves. All you Steeler fans are the most arrogant bunch of idiots ever. The Titans schooled your asses, The BELOVED INDIANAPOLIS COLTS came into your house and kicked your asses and the Browns will do the same thing.
The Steelers are the most over rated team in the NFL, Ben Rothlesberger is a joke and so called #1 defense is pathetic.
GO BROWNS TO BEAT THE STEELERS
COLTS ARE GOIN ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PEYTON IS THE MVP!!!!!!!!!

"..gay pride pee rag..". OK , that's pretty funny. You all are usually pretty funny. You know a little something about gay pride, don't you, BenLicksMyScrotum? You're one of those guys that says things like, "Suck my dick, you fag!". :D

See you in the playoffs, you jealous little puke.

Jealous? Oh here we go again. Typical Steeler fan talking about their 5 Superbowl rings. That's history. No one cares except you obnoxious idiots. Here it is the end of the season and Bens game(not that he had much of one) is falling apart. He is self desructing. That combined with weak O line and I say Steelers will not go far in playoffs at all.

I believe that the Titans are a solid team. But that beeng said how many trips to the Playoffs have they made recently? The Playoffs are a totally different games. We will see how they handle pressure. Fisher is a lot like Cowher in the Playoffs as well.

-- the pee rag pride comment was pretty funny

-- BLMScrotum, I actually like Peyton, but do not want him anywhere near my groinal area

-- the LenDale dis of the TT should not be fined by the league; it can only be addressed by beating the Titans in the postseason...and then followup the victory on the Titan field with a bunch of Stillers waving TTs

-- yes, the 5 Super Bowls are history -- and that history, along with our present-day team, are what we're proud of, dick

bdl...

You suck at life. Your posts/opinions don't count for that very reason.

P.S. - I hope Pittsburgh meets Tennessee in the playoffs and kicks the every-loving dog-shite out of them in the rematch. Putting the Kool-Aid down makes me realize that, if they continue to play as they have been, they don't stand a chance in doing so.

You can put the Kool-aid down, see the team for what it is, warts and all, and still not buddy up to the opposing fan base....go ahead crown the Titans already if thats what you wanna do...although now it seems your backing off on that....well its good you see the error of your ways.

Postby McLovin » Wed Dec 24, 2008 5:05 pm

No bigger fan of our team than McLovin' but that loss took the wind right out of my sails fellas. #1 seed and home field on the line and Ben plays that f'ing bad is not a good sign. The OL playing that bad against a DL rotation that included like 3 rookies is not a good sign. Two years straight under Tomlin and steelers are going into playoffs with no momentum. Even an ass whipping at home over the brownies going to rid McLovin' of the putrid taste of this last loss to a bunch of thugs led by the biggest fattest thug in the league in Lendale f'ing White. Every team in playoffs red hot EXCEPT Steelers.

1) The Titans had those towels made and waiting on the sidelines.

2) If you are referring to the people in the stands...well...maybe y'all in Nashville can spend some money on a ticket or two. In turn, you would not have to worry about the opposing team's fan-base waving a towel (or anything) inside of your stadium.

I'm in Indy Teegre. The Titans are almost as over rated as the Steelers and suck the same. The only reason I give any respect to the Titans is because they're in the AFC South with the Colts. And there is always going to be some of the apposing teams fans in the stands. That's the way it is. The Titans did NOT have those towels made and waiting on the sidelines. Get a clue idiot. The NFL supplies them.
GO BROWNS TO BEAT THE STEELERS
GO COLTS TO BEAT THE TITANS IN A MEANINGLESS GAME

I agree with Mclovin. No momentem going into the playoffs. Bad sign. If Ben doesn't turn ball over
we win games. If he does turn the ball over we lose games. Which Ben will show up for the playoffs?
The Steelers will only be as successful as Big Ben is!

FIVE SUPERBOWL RINGS BABY TIED FOR MOST IN THE NFL

5 superbowl rings sure but you still trail Green Bay and Chicago for NFL Titles. Please do not embarras yourself by saying that do not count. Funy how ESPN had the greatest game played and it wasn't a Superbowl. Do you know why ?? Because they counted also. Too Easy !!

Super Bowls count more than titles won when there were like 2 teams in the league. Exaggeration yes, but you get my point.
