20

Last week there was some disparity among the voting that was mentioned by a poster.

This week, 20 people have voted that Arians is a great OC and that we can wait another 4 weeks to fix the offense.

I want to know which members of Arians' family are visiting www.stillers.com and voting in the poll.

I'm one of em.

But, I have several anti-arians posts in here, and I am no fan.

But look guys, it's still a Rooney-led club, and you KNOW there will be no coaching changes during the season. The best we can hope for is that some other team wants him as HC for next year, or that somehow Tomlin wants to "clean house" a bit in the off-season. We can rant and rave all we want (and I have) but hell will freeze over before Bruce is gone this season. It's just not the way the Steelers do business. So I think we should move on.

Also, at what point to we start to question Ken Anderson's coaching performance for BR7's inconsistent play and high turnovers and mental mistakes and poor fundamentals at times (sidearm throws, not protecting the ball, unnecessary spikes, leaving no time on the play clock)...that's all "coachable" stuff.

Good point.
Who has Ken Anderson ever made into a good QB?

I am not a fan of Arians...
...but, there is no way i would make a coaching change right now.

Simply, with whom would Tomlin replace Arians???

Ken Anderson sucks.
The O-line coach sucks worserer.
Again, who should replace Arians with one week left in the regular season???

In other words, while I think Arians HAS to go at the end of the season, there is no way that he is being switched right now. Ergo, while I did not vote (because all of the options seemed inane to me), I do not fault anyone for choosing to keep Arians on through the Super Bowl.

Interesting.

I suppose that I didn't think of it in that manner.

I think that Arians should go, but I can't think of anyone that they can put into the position over the next 4 weeks.

I guess that I just didn't read the question completely.

Thanks for setting me right.

This is what makes the Steelers a class organization.

Personnel items get handled in the front office and not on the front page of the Post Gazette.

I hope Arians and most of the staff gets the axe after the season. However, it would be a death sentence to do it now. When (i hope) a change is made. I doubt it will come from within. In the past this has happened. Cowher usually had OC's taking head coaching positions and it made sense to promote from within. This time I don't see it going that way. Arians came from Cowher's staff and the offense has had its issues.

Someone mentioned Ken Anderson. I have not heard what his influence has been. However, the one coach that does not seem to catch any wrath is the O-line coach (Zierlein). I don't see the mental toughness and bad ass nature in our o-line.
