Tough Schedule

Postby jstallworth82 » Mon Jul 21, 2008 4:21 pm

On paper we have a very hard schedule. But this team does have weapons on the Offense, all we need to do is utilize the talent against the opposing teams weaknesses. We have to quit the turtling and open up the O. Have a goal of 40 points per game every game. Our Defense is good enough to keep us in most games. Who on our schedule has such a great talented team that we can not compete with or exploit their weaknesses? We already have a good D we just need to light a fire under them to get them to play like 11 Lamberts. We have a load of weapons at our disposal Great QB, among the better corps or WRs, solid RBs, Good TEs. yeah we are a little weak at the OL but we can take a lot of pressure off the OL by utilizing quick short passes, screens, and draws to keep D honest. Keep the D off balance and take what they give us and we can hurt a lot of teams. they can't stop all of our weapons.
On D apply pressure, hit hard, tackle well. Add the 1 thing our D has been missing and that is the ability to intimidate the other team. You do that by accomplishing the previous 3 traits consistantly. We have been weak in tackling and getting pressure up the middle. Our team needs to get back the swagger, the "Come Get Some" attitude.

We will never use injuries as an excuse.
