Titans fan perspective on win...

Postby PATitanSteveCJ » Sun Dec 21, 2008 9:29 pm

First of all, let me say that I live in PA, so the typical Tennessee bashing that you blue collared fags think is funny doesn't affect me. So don't do it.

Going into the game today, I knew the Titans had the upper hand despite what all the idiot "talking heads" said and predicted. I threw down quite a bit of money on this game, and I usually NEVER bet on my own team, but this was an exception. I knew the Titans were the dominant team in this matchup, and they came through.

I've been saying ALL season that the Steelers secondary is not good, and the offensive line is downright PATHETIC. I'm not trying to talk shit, but you being Steeler fans know this is true, just is what it is. The Steelers secondary has developed the rep of being the best secondary for the "best defense in the world" allowing the fewest passing yards a game, but that really has little to do with your DBs. It has everything to do with the pressure that your LBs bring on opposing QBs forcing them to make premature and errant throws, making it very hard to complete passes.

The Titans offensive line is the best in football, so your pressure was basically worthless. Only one blemish, and that was allowing James Harrison to get a sack, and that dude is hard to contain. He was actually held on that play.

Without the pressure, your secondary and DBs were exposed for what they were, allowing KERRY FUCKING COLLINS to throw for 216 yards yards, more than you allowed to any one all year. That is EMBARRASSING. To make matters worse, his leading receivers were JUSTIN MAC-KARENS and JUSTIN GAGE. McCareins SUCKS!

Also, our dline even without Haynesworth or Vandenbosch, two ALL-PROS, completely dismantled your Oline. Justin Hartwig is trash, in fact, he is our old washed up trash. Jason Jones made him his bitch.

I knew that your run defense was suspect, and over the past 2 weeks you were abused by running backs with way less talent than the guys we have. I mean Tashard Choice and Laron McClain both eclipsed the 80 yard mark, not exactly the sign of a iron clad run defense.

As I expected, our running game was completely dominant, and it was obvious you have NO answer for Chris Johnson's speed, as was clearly evidenced as he sped past everyone and high stepped from 10 yards out, holding the ball out behind him, going basically untouched into the endzone. And there was no answer for LenDale's strength, as he easily overpowered everyone on the goalline, getting his 16th TD of the year.

Titans outplayed the Steelers in every aspect of the game, and Fisher outcoached Tomlin. All of those things resulted in the 17 point blowout we all watched today.

In the third quarter, I got a text from a friend who is a Steelers fan that said, "you can have the cheap win, fuck the refs". He sent that text right after the Steelers CHEATED and got caught and got an unsportsmanlike penalty for yelling out signals on the field goal attempt. OH yea, that was TOTALLY the refs fault there!!

What about the play where McCareins was pass interfered in the endzone and there was no flag, I didn't bitch about that call, because I'm not a BITCH.

That's one thing that I hate about Steeler fans, they can never take responsibility for their team and always shift the blame on the refs, instead of on their shitty players and mistakes, it's fucking PATHETIC.

That's why I like a lot of the posters here, guys like Steel Holiday and IndySteel, who take responsibility and hand out respect where respect is due. They tipped their hat and said the Titans are the better team, and I can appreciate and respect that. What I can't respect are fans who blame the refs.

And I've noticed that almost all Steeler fans that I personally know have this high strung attitude that just because they are a fan of a good team, that they know a lot about football or are the kings of the NFL. Um, just because the team you like is good doesn't mean that that makes you a good person, or that it changes what kind of person you are. Most Steeler fans are actually miserable fucks with shitty lives, who like to live vicariously through their favorite football team, and it makes them feel like they are a part of something great, when in reality, their lives are really pretty fucking lame and pathetic. It makes me sick which is why I love when the Titans beat them, it shuts these people the fuck up and makes them realize that I fucking own them in every phase of life.

Ah, but I digress.

Also, a lot of you were bitching about what LenDale did with the terrible towel, how he threw it on the ground and stomped on it, how it was the ultimate sign of disrespect, et al.

Personally, I LOVED it. It symbolized exactly how I felt, the media and Steeler fans all crowned the Steelers as the best team in the AFC and pretty much expected a win, and that was like saying, WELL FUCK THE STEELERS, but more than anything, FUCK THEIR FANS.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are tons of awesome Steeler fans, I mean I know a few, but the majority of them I know and even a few on here have this bizarre superiority complex based around their liking of a team, and those are the people both LenDale and I send a big FUCK YOU to.

But you say it was the ultimate sign of disrespect, but the thing is, the Titans HAVE NO respect for the Steelers. Why should they? The Steelers have done nothing to warrant the Titans respect. LenDale and Bo were stomping on your sign of Steeler fan hood, and the whole team was loving it. It was hilarious because we destroyed them, the ALMIGHTY Steelers were DESTROYED by the "lowly" Titans.

The Titans are constantly disrespected by the media and by opposing fans, so you know what, right back at you. I loved that showing of LenDale so much I made it my sig. The Titans are the big boys of the AFC, and I hope to GOD by some MIRACLE the Steelers can find a way to beat the Colts in the playoffs, because I would LOVE for nothing more than to ruin your season for the SECOND time and knock you out of the playoffs once and for all.

If we do happen to play you in the playoffs, I hope you come with your blue collars fastened, because it will be an ASSKICKING worse than you even saw today.

We are the TITANS, the best in the AFC, DO NOT FUCK WITH US.

Just another dufus who only posted because his team won. He KNEW they would win. Sure he did.
I bet he was cussing them out in the 3rd Q when they fell behind. You won't see him here again after they get beat in the playoffs...and they WILL get beat.

Enjoy the win as your season will end January 17th. Fisher is a choker and will never win a SB. This game has to do with the 4 game stretch of @NE, DAL, @BAL, @TEN. I think we ran out of gas a little after the Baltimore and Dallas games. I am actually glad as next week is essentially a 2nd bye week. We do have the best secondary in football and we will shut you down on the 17th. This game reminds me of the MNF game against the Colts 3 years ago. You guys will pay for the Towel insult just like Housh and the Bungles did in '05.

Steve,

Take the next 24 hours off to reconsider your perspective on respect & hypocrisy.
