Tennessee capped off a great regular season today

Postby Steel Holiday » Sun Dec 21, 2008 7:06 pm

They started off 10-0 dominating each opponent with sound fundamental football. Today they secured a well deserved #1 seeding in the AFC playoffs. There is no guessing about what the Titans want to do as a football team. Opponents have known since Collins became the Qb that this was a ball control, don't take sacks, don't turn the ball over, keep our defense in position to make critical stops to give our offense momentum team. The Steelers knew it, and they couldn't beat them. Great teams beat other great teams at home when there is something on the line, and that is what the Titans did today.

Fisher is a great coach and he has done a superb job of building a team of guys who all perform with in themselves. It sucks that we have to be the team the Titans make their final statement against before the playoffs, but that is football and maybe we had it coming. For all the toughest schedule in history talk we played most of our tough games at home, or in conditions that favored us IMO. We had to go on the road today to play a tough team and we got stepped on. Congrats to all the Tennessee fans, and maybe we will see you again if we can win our divisional round game.

Steve,

I think you'll find this board is populated with mostly realistic Steelers fans.
The way the Titan's played today and this regualr season deserves respect.

Speaking of respect, BDL & Nino raise a valid point. (Although not in the most tactful way.) Your photos are of a Titan player showing a lot of disrespect. I'm surprised you'd choose to disply it since you claim to respect those who have respect. Seems a bit hypocritical.

I guess well know what kind of fan (and poster) you are based on whether you leave it on.
