huh, according to nfl.com, the only person listed as out on the injury list is marvel smith (who should go on IR already)

kiesel is questionable, clark/harrison probable

With the exception of this last week when he won AFC DPOTW, no news means good news with Smith. He will continue to dominate the LOS :sufootballhelmet:.

Physically I am 99% sure he is fine. Now the ongoing situation he has in his personal life, I cannot comment nor would I want to. But as a father myself I would like to extend my deepest hope that all things turn out to be ok. If I were a god fearing man, I would be praying every night.

Yeah I guess that prior post doesn't set right. I would always like to hear that his son is living happily. :celebrate: Smith is one of my favorite Steelers. We sure missed him in the playoffs.

Encouraging news on Ellijah Smith, Aaron's 5-year old son diagnosed with Leukemia.

Smith's son, Elijah, who turned 5 Dec. 6, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia -- a cancer of the white blood cells -- a few days before the Steelers played the New York Giants Oct. 26. The disease has an 80 percent survival rate, the doctors told Smith and his wife, Jaimie. They are encouraged about Elijah because he has responded well to once-a-week chemotherapy treatments and his follow-up blood tests have been good.

Sounds like he will play. Reports out of the burgh said he had two good practices this week with no ill effects. Even if we is only in on 1/2 of the plays it will be a boost to the defense and keep a rotation of D-lineman in the game.
