Only 3 in Pro Bowl
Farrior, Troy, Silverback.
I think Aaron Smith got screwed big time. He is having a lights out year.

One more than I would have expected. Farrior? I was rooting for Woodley, but I guess the competition was too stiff.

Re: Only 3 in Pro Bowl
I'd rather the guys be playing on February 1st than the 8th anyhow.
Re: Only 3 in Pro Bowl
All Pro Faneca makes it again!! Pro Bowl is a joke among jokes. 3 players from the #1 D in the NFL?? I guess I just don't get it.

Re: Only 3 in Pro Bowl
suggs over woodley is mind boggling , if you go by stats.
phillip rivers not making the team and not being the starter mite be the biggest snub of all time. he leads the leage or is close to it, in just about every key stat.

Only 3 Stillers - yet FOUR Deadskins! What a joke...
Re: Only 3 in Pro Bowl
And not a single probowler on offense, not that any deserve it. Who would have thought that in the beginning of the season looking at the talent we have at the skilled positions that we wouldnt have one single offensive probowler...Thanks Bruce!!

Re: Only 3 in Pro Bowl
Woodley and Aaron Smith (esp. ASmith who is having a better year than Mathis despite the
personal tribulations) off the Pro Bowl team is a travesty. However, playing on 2/1 is much
more important.

redskins are one of the most talented teams in the league. the problem is their coaching or organization, it's proof you can't buy a championship in the nfl

Re: Only 3 in Pro Bowl
Three is a little surprising but not that much to me. I agree Smith and Woodley have a bit of a beef but it was a close call. Next year if Woodley has another year like 2008 he will be there. Smith plays in a 3-4 which hurts his chances. Dlineman to the pro bowl is usually about sacks so it makes it tough for a guy like Smith. Who on offense has the numbers?
Taylor is one of the best CB's in the league in my opinion. However, without the gaudy INT numbers you won't make it.
If someone told you before the year the following:
No offensive starters on ProBowl
Ben's shoulder would be hurt all year
FWP would have two injuries and be slowed all year
Mendenhall out all year
2-3 key OL injuries
All of the defensive injuries
Our schedule
An offense with little to no identity
Who would have guessed 11-3. Granted we could easily be at 9-5 but you could also argue 13-1. To me this highlights Tomlin coming into his own as a HC, Lebeau working a lot of magic getting a unit to play together.
