1) With Haynesworth and KVB out, this might a moot argument, but the Titans are interesting in that 34 of their 38 team sacks all come from their front four (guys like Ford and Dave Ball are no slouch). I think as a fan base we are getting complacent about their backups -- all year our offensive line has struggled with *decent* inside pash rushers while Big Ben has patted the ball time and time again -- "no-names" like Demetric Evans on the Redskins and Sandy Ego's Jacques Cesaire -- a 3-4 DE -- have logged multiple sacks against our O-Line. If you look at the sacks Big Ben has taken over the course of the season, it's rarely from a blitzing backer or a corner blitz; Ray Lewis, Orlando Scandrick and DeMarcus Ware be damned.

2) The Steelers just ended a run where they played 4 of 5 teams that primarily play a base 3-4 defense (the exception here is Cincinnati). If you discount Cincinnati, Ben's most god-awful games have come against base 4-3 teams (Indy, Giants, and the god-awful first half in Washington - I know, he was "hurt").

3) If you haven't seen Tennessee's offensive line play, it's really, really, really good. I mean, they make Clydesdale White look good. Tennessee QBs have been sacked a total of nine times all season -- Kerry Collins only seven times, and he's pretty darn statuesque. They've played a softer schedule than us, but their line has seen its fair share of good pass rushes, and stonewalled them all. Their run blocking is also quite sound, and Farrior and especially Foote will be severely tested. Foote's been a non-factor all season, and this is the type of game where we're going to need him bigtime.

Sorry. My point was I'm not content, or complacent, until we win the Super Bowl. The three games I listed are all that concern me.

The way our offense sputters will concern me until we get another ring. Any letdown or misfortune befalling our fantastic D concerns me because our O just doesn't instill confidence...in spite of the incredible comebacks to date...our O SHOULD be scoring many more points damnit!

Where are you getting the idea that Steeler fans are complacent about the Tennessee game.

With this offense, we could be playing Sister Mary's School for the Blind, and I wouldn't be complacent.

This is an offense that would still need to mount a six-play drive to score a FG if the opposing defense walked off the field.
