Gametime Change Sunday
Just a reminder -
Sunday's game against Ratbirds was changed to 4:15pm under the NFL's new TV rules.

Re: Gametime Change Sunday
According to the TV viewing map linked below, much of the U.S.A. (myself included) will not see the important Stillers-Ratbirds game on television.

I assume there will be a video feed(s) for this game on www.justin.tv, but if anyone finds another viewing link, please post it here.

I've got the NE-Oakland barnburner.
Granted, I live in Massachusetts, but still, one of those weeks I'm glad for the overpriced DirecTV Sunday Ticket.

Looks like I will have the tv on mute and listening to the radio broadcast.

me, too, but I thought the time change was to make the game nationally televised due to the playoff implications, no? I have the Sunday ticket, anyway, so I haven't checked the santa cruz area tv listings, but I assumed it would be viewable by all, or at least most. Isn't that the whole point of "Flex" scheduling?

true, i guess it's good for most of the fans that's why i won't complain about it much. doesn't matter to me though, i live 15 minutes away from a bar that televises all the football games. gives me an excuse to kick it with the guys and eat nachos
Re: Gametime Change Sunday
Why can't Denver and Carolina Play on Fox? Damn!! I was doing good this year. Only had to go to the bar once to see a game.

C'mon boys! If the game is not on your local TV, go to Hooters with your Terrible Towels and watch it there. That's what my sons and I do whenever the game is not broadcast in DC.

Hey Leo, ever check out The Pour House on Pennsylvania Ave SE? It's chock full of Stillers fans every Sunday with all the TVs you could imagine...true Stiller heaven.

MHoge, I may have to check that out, thanks for the tip. I do have some natural prejudices towards Hooters, though. Cliche, yes, but still like it......

There is also a great restaurant out here in the NOVA suburbs... The Village Grill in Ashburn is non-smoking and kid-friendly. Just send the kids off to the arcade room and enjoy the games on multiple HDTV's!
Btw - looks like there's us lot of us Washingtonians on this site.

Naw, the kids will stay right with me -- they are diehard fans like their old man. Their bedrooms look like the one in that NFL commercial with the Stiller lamp.....we even have a Stiller Christmas tree.
No offense, but I am not a Washingtonian. I still consider myself a Pittsburgher (born and raised there), but have been on the move since 89 (when I joined the Army).

I'm with ya... guess I should have worded it transplanted Pittsburghers here in DC. My kids are still too small yet to become diehards and watch the games - but I'm training them! My daughter wears her pink Big Ben jersey all the time!

NOVAStiller & Leo,
If you're around the Potomac Mills Mall area, there's a great Steelers bar near there called "Gators". It's funny, they have a couple of big screens for the Steelers games and a little tiny T.V. in the corner for any Redskin fan. Great food and great place to watch the game.
