The Punter watch: Berger v. Kapinos (GB)
Curious to see how Berger's punting yesterday compared with former Penn State punter Jeremy Kapinos who punted yesterday for Green Bay:
Kapinos: 8 punts, 39.5 AVG, 34.5 NET, 3 inside the 20, 49 LG
Berger: 6 punts, 32.8 AVG, 33.7 NET, 2 inside the 20, 44 LONG
Berger did punt into the wind a lot, and actually had a higher punt average than the Dallas punter for the game.

If there was anything I complained about during the game, it was the punt-game.
Little did I consider at the time, the winds just miiiiight have had a factor in the craptacular punting display.
Now... In hindsight... Looking at BOTH punters stats objectively comparing stats... Berger did well considering.
Question is... Is he still gimpy? Is his gimpiness going to be an issue?
I don't know how many 35 yard punts I can take.
Here's to hoping Berger starts-a boomin' 'em.

If we lose a playoff game because of shitty field position with this retarded punter on the roster, I'm going to fly to the burgh, chop off berger's nuts and punt one of them down Colbert's throat, the other one down Tomlin's throat.

You might have to stand in line for that!

I loved that the net was greater than the gross.
What a testament to how good the coverage teams have become!!!!
