View topic - Three starters you would bench on Sunday?

You have your pick of ANY of the Steeler starters. Who would you POSITIVELY, ABSOLUTELY, WITH OUT QUESTION yank from the roster and chain their worthless ass to the bench and tell them "Don't get up!" What three, by NOT being in the line up would most contribute to a win against the Cry Boys on Sunday?

Berger- just let Ben pooch punt when necessary

Holmes- for playing lackadaisical ever since his suspension (even though we'd be worse w/ him on the bench)

Farrior- just to see what Mill would write about in his postgame grades after we pound Dallas!

I would really only bench one guy on kickoff returns: Carey Davis
Somebody needs to tell him/Ligashesky that he is not cut out to return kicks, even though he seems very eager to do so by constantly butting in front of Gary Russell to try and catch the ball.

You HAVE to mention Arians in this conversation no matter what.

After he's gone, if Ben continues to run around like a fucking idiot holding onto the ball too long, let the capable Leftwich try to give some throws.

I'm begging you, just give byron A COUPLE DRIVES. I practically guarantee it will make a difference.

Thrdly, yes he had a nice pick 6, but Townsend. He cost us big time on a couple passes against the giants, and gets tooled a little too frequently for my liking.

An honorable mention would be Anthony Smith, who is just pissing me off.

But seriously, if Tomlin just benched Ben a couple drives to give Byron a shot, we may be well on our way to the super bowl after bens benched permanently for the season. There, I said it.

Willie Colon is maybe the worst offensive lineman I've ever seen start for an NFL team...... He has no technique, looks overwhelmed mentally, and seems to be the one committing holding penalties whenever the offense pulls off what would have been a big play......

(I can picture Harrison or Woodley on the sidelines watching Colon get beat, and thinking, "If he had to block us, we'd break the single game sack record........")

We should give the backup a chance...... He couldn't be any worse............
