davenport sucks, i hope he stays on the bench
are we signing him only for emergency reasons? I'm thinking mewelde should start, and russell should come in for short yardage duty as well as kickoffs where he's been doing a good job. from what i've seen from gary so far, he's better at both short yardage and KO returns than davenport

Maybe they needed extra help finishing off the turkey today, Casey Hampton alone couldn't cut it.
Zero point to having him on the roster - he's been a major bust.

I'm not so sure I'd want to work for the Steelers. I mean shit...If you lay me off, at least let me go to the mailbox and get my check during the holidays. You're messin with my down time.
In Pennsylvania:The amount can vary slightly from state to state, but in general, the amount you will receive will be approximately 50% of your weekly earnings, with a set maximum amount you can receive. The maximum varies from state to state. (Note: because of this maximum, most workers receive far less than 50% of their weekly wage).
Dookie sucks, so he can't be making more than minimum wage.
In general, Unemployment Insurance lasts for 26 weeks (about 6 months). In times of extended high unemployment, benefits may be extended by 13 weeks or more....(that means we'll see him in the first '09 mini-camp)
Management is just fucking with these guys...punters and everyone.
