Jaws just said on Sportscenter that 5 of the penalties were offsides or illegal formation so there are unarguable...but he did go on to say that it appeared as though Hines Ward was going targeted by the crew.

I am not big into conspiracy theories with the spread, but I definitely believe that it is more than likely Hines was and will continue to be targeted by officials for what he has done so far this year with various fines and huge hits.

The officiating crew was obviously sniffing glue throughout the game. Official NFL model airplane glue that has been distributed to all officials throughout the league every Sunday morning...I suspect they will begin marketing it soon, after the Coors Light commercials. The commercial: You'll see Mike Pieoria (sp) at the podium explaining the bad calls, with guys in the crowd asking retard questions while sniffing official NFL glue.

thats why you saw hines lose his cool in game for the first time ever. after a ton of hines calls he finally FROWNED.

My wife is a huge Hines fan, and, when Hines frowned, she said, "Uh oh, HInes is pissed. God help whoever gets in his way now." I concurred: "He wants the ball now." He's a badass.

My wife likes the smiles too, but I'm concerned that some LB's seek to rectify the situation and gun for Hines. Worse, I have noticed in the last 2-3 games that he'll catch the ball and continue to run backwards, (YES Backwards!!) to extend his RAC. I cringed each time he did this and am amazed in how this doesn't hurt him. If that kinda of play continues I fear the worst.
Has anyone else noticed this? Why not simply turn up-feild?
Does he have some hard plastic back protection back there that limits the force?

I agree the Refs do seem to be nailin our team a bit ...I wish every penalty was "reviewable"
