For the past 4 months, I've been flying out of Mississippi, where I live, to Lexington, KY on a weekly basis for work. My flight plans nearly always take me through Atlanta because I usually fly Delta. For those that don't travel, A few years ago, Delta moved their hub of operations to Atlanta. Since then, it has become the busiest airport in the nation (which is also why it's such a train wreck, but that's for another post).

Anyways, the reason I point all this out is because I often get bored during layovers in ATL and occupy myself by observing how many people walking through the terminal are wearing their team's gear. Week in and week out, I notice that there are at least ten times as many people wearing Steeler gear than all the other teams combined.

I should also mention that I fly on Mondays and Fridays, so it's not the usual game-day bravado you might witness on a Sunday.

It's no secret that the Steelers are well represented across the country, but that doesn't make it any less inspiring to see the civilians of Steeler Nation showing their pride so prominantly.
