I'm not saying we should or shouldn't be putting a missile defense program in Poland.
What I am saying is that there ought to be consistancy about it from the President-elect.

President-elect Obama has spoken to the president of Poland about relations between the two countries but didn't make a commitment on the multibillion-dollar missile defense program undertaken by the Bush administration, an Obama aide said Saturday.


That contrasts with a statement by Polish President Lech Kaczynski, who said Obama told him the missile defense project would continue.

LOL, because he did not commit it is double talk? This is supposed to be a problem on an international stage? Seriously, after Bush, it is going to take much much much more than this. Bush was an international nightmare and ruined any credibility America had with most countries. There is now hope with Obama that we will once again be part of a global community instead of a fuck you community we had under bush.

I hope Obama does what he thinks is best for America, not what you want or what someone in Poland thinks is best.

The Missile issue in Poland is a HUGE issue.
And telling the poland president that you are committed to one course of action, while telling the media you are not committed is at the very least double talk.

More proof that Obama does not really know much. He looks good, talks well, but has absolutely no substance.

His ONLY chance is to surround himself with people smarter than he. No chance of that though -- his ego is way to big.

Funny.....folks are already claiming Obama needs more time and defending his gaffes by putting back on Bush.
