Martz Let Go

Postby shawnlucas » Wed Dec 31, 2008 1:35 am

Hmm.

The only part of the article that left me with some concern was the following:

The 49ers scored 339 points this season after managing just 219 last year, and racked up nearly 74 more offensive yards per game. San Francisco's 35 turnovers were nearly the same number as last season, and Martz's quarterbacks were sacked 55 times, a frequent flaw in his offenses.

Still, it might be worth a stab, especially if Arians' offense causes the Steelers to pig fuck away their chance in the playoffs.

I know that the Rooneys don't generally go for the big name coaches, so it's most likely just a pipe dream.

Martz is probably the only OC available that would be worse for the Steelers than Arians
