I think he's an idiot, but it seems like he's getting the full treatment from the police. Now they searched his house and found various weapons and ammo. He shoots himself so they get to search his house? That doesn't seem right. In any case, his attorney should have given him a heads up on the possibility so that he could get ride of any more unregistered weapons. If they end up being unregistered, then he truly is a dolt.
