GENE HICKERSON, Browns Hall of Fame Guard, dies @ 73.
Blocked for Jim Brown, Leroy Kelly and Bobby Mitchell, who later in 2007 pushed his wheelchair onto the stage at Fawcett Stadium. Browns never had a losing season during his 15 years. He retired in 1973 at 38 years. He was drafted in the same draft as Jim Brown. He first played behind Chuck Noll for one season.
Passed away on Monday.

Hammer, if you had seen Gene play you'd be more respectful. He led Jim Brown into the end zone for 8 years.

Seen him play, he was great.
my comment wasn't a smack at him, but at the organization.
(Thus the appology, and the Rest In Peace wishes)
