Paxson for Bailey...
I haven't heard much conjecture on this board on the recent practice-squad swap of Patrick Baily (to) for Scott Paxson (from)
short article
Do you think the brass senses a little more urgent pressure to beef up the DL crew over that of the LBs, especially in light of recent injuries, or are they just trying to get Paxson some PT?

Wha make you tink I won cutchu, mang?!?
Re: Paxson for Bailey...
Bailey was picked up to be a special teams player and he did a helluva job in coverage.
But the DL is very thin, not very young, and they need another body. Paxson was brought in this past week to give them an extra lineman in the heat and humidity of Jacksonville. Roye, at 888 pounds, is not the man to go for a full game if someone goes down.
I'm sure they didn't want to part with Bailey, but they need a young, healthy 6'5", 292 pound defensive lineman more than another special teams guy -- even a good one.

Re: Paxson for Bailey...
Bailey is a special teams demon. I'd love to see him stick around and make the roster next season as a legitimate reserve linebacker/special teams ace.
