1 of Roeth's sack vs. Clev was changed by the NFL to a reception by Ben, of all people. The ball hit a helmet and came back to him and he grabbed it.

Ben now is tied with Fast Willie Parker in receptions.....and he now has more receptions than the dynamic Mendenhall and Mewelde Moore (the "pass catching back", as you know) COMBINED. He also has more grabs than the #3 WR, and more than 2nd round rookie Limas Sweed.

Just haven't had to throw it around much in the first two games, so not many balls to go around. Time is coming when the guys you mentioned will have to step it up and be a part of the passing game. Just hope they are up to it, cause eventually we'll have to play offense without a lead. So far, the Steelers haven't been behind on the scoreboard at all, but that's sure to change soon.

Also, if you were paying attention vs the Texans. The game was over, what, mid-2nd quarter. They got a huge lead, and shut it down. I dont remember HOU really stopping our run game. Another reason why the O didnt throw alot.

We passed the ball 19 times and ran 31 times.

There were only 12 (or 13 if the corrected stats are in the numbers) completions. How silly it may seem to you that we passed to our top 2 WRs and #1 TE. We only went deep twice.

We were not going to spread the ball around in the spread O/multi-WRs sets. Hence the lack of Nate catches (although he coulda had 2 catches that game - must have been Ariens fault for that too).

We protected our QB and played perfect O. We got 1st downs in the pass game vs that shitty Brown D.

Had it been a good weather day, we would have passed much more. And you would have seen more receptions.

Yea, lets play pussy ball, and spread it around to TEs and RBs for 5yard gainers. Then we can wear Patriot and Eagle uniforms to show off our new PussyMill Style of football.

I LOVE the fact that Ben goes for the plays down the field. Go for the throat. We didnt do it foolishly, like you say. We did if a little, which was perfect for the condidtions.
