Reaction to Saints Game

Postby isfry » Sat Aug 27, 2016 1:30 pm

BR7, AB, Bell and the O-line look great. Coates getting comfortable (albeit with Jones) and Eli Rogers looking solid. Defense decent in 1st Q (when it really counted, IMO). Special teams needs work, outside of FG kicking.

Landry actually looked like a competent NFL back-up QB. Total 180 from last week's disaster. Wish I knew this version was here to stay....

This team will go as far as their health allows them to. I like some of the things I saw on D yesterday, but it will still be our weakness. Also, Harrison looks in top form out there. The guy is unreal. Much respect.

Thanks for the info guys while I still believe in Santa Claus and the endless summer. Wish I lived in the lands of continual warmth AND enjoy the Stillers. I said last season that Coates may make us forget MB. Still wobbly regarding the backup QB....just like every damn year it seems. Gonna' take a lot of luck, of the good variety, to get it done this year even with all the talent. As far as Harrison, any thing new on his battle with the great commish? He scares me just looking at him so I would have nothing but good things to say anyway. :subngtowl:
