Bryant: Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Postby bigjoespompano » Tue Dec 23, 2014 1:57 am

Someone just informed me that the reason for his 'benching' in the first six weeks was a 'discipline' issue. If this is true what was he doing to warrant this and was it worth it for the good of the season or the team in general?

First I heard of it, and I would be surprised to hear of Tomlin running that tight a ship.

That may have come from his days late in college ball a taunting type foul I believe. That is all I could find.

I've heard that. However, I think it's just an excuse to make them look good cause they actually thought that wasted 4th round draft pick, Justin Brown, was better.

What the hell could it have been, when you consider that Bell and Blount were arrested and charged and convicted the week before the season or whatever, and they sat for like a game, right? My guess is, as 76 pointed out, it's more CYA after not only making a bad personnel decision (Brown) but crowing about it for the first four weeks of the season.
