LeBeau's problem is sticking with old or mediocre players. Ike Taylor should have been gone a long time ago. (When was the last time we heard mention of Ike Taylor jumping a route?) When opposing teams consistently convert third and long like the Ravens did on us, that's a sign of putrid CB play. Another sign is weak-armed QBs like Colt McCoy able to drive on us. Whenever our pass rush is neutralized, the defensive backfield has been unable to bail the "D" out.

If we can get a good turnaround of personnel, get rid of the deadwood, and get some decent corners, LeBeau will be fine. Ike must go, make Gay a backup safety or nickel, and get some corners who can deny receivers and actually go for the football on occasion.

Now Bruce Arians is another story altogether. We have too many quality players on offense to struggle like we do. We repeat our five pet plays all game (that bubble screen dropped lateral would have done us in had it been called correctly), and the defense is never kept honest. And in time, Ben is at risk getting blasted into IR. (If Ben still fanatically wants Arians, maybe he DESERVES to get messed up.) I've never seen BA call designed rollouts, especially when in situations where taking a sack is not an option. And most importantly, I've never seen BA call plays on defensive tendencies. Such as a reverse against heavy pursuit, a misdirection play against cheating LBs, a design screen over an overpursuing blitz, or a run play off a four-receiver set on third-and-long with the "D" playing "dime". (The Stillers' "D" has been burned over the years with such play calls.)

For how much some of us want Beau to go, I'll be EXTREMELY disappointed if Bruce Arians is on the Stillers sidelines next season.

Pro Football is a young man's game. That is including the coaching more and more. The game is more fluid and dynamic, and rules changes are happening more often too.

Before the game they were talking about how Dick was so old, he'd played against the option. His "experience" with it didn't do us any good.

Iin that 5-game losing streak, the Defense kept the Offense in those games into the 4th quarter. One example: The loss to Oakland: With 7 minutes left, Oakland had only scored 6 points. The Steeler offense,....10 points.

Expecting chronic shut-out football is fantasy.

One of the worst coached seasons for the black and gold in last 40 years. The only game coached worth a damn this year was the Pats game. You could bet if we had moved on to face the Pats again even if healthy we would have losted badly. Why, Dick could not do it again twice in one season. Tomlin plays his injured players including his francise quarterback rather than resting and healing for the playoffs because he has no balls to tell anyone no. He can't tell Bruce Ahole no more bubble screens. He can't tell Dick keep the safety back even after his best cornerback got shredded deep all day. He can't manage the clock to ever put together a winning field goal if his life depended on it. But many of you will cry he is a great coach he won a Super Bowl and we need consistency in our coaching staff. Really, after this season you want more of the same? FUCK Tomlin fire his ass for even wanting to keep his coaching staff let alone for being a idiot as a brain trust as far as a head coach.

Tomlin has a good stage presence and a LOUSY sideline personna. He can NOT conjure up a unique idea once the game clock starts. Arians can ONLY pick a play from his list. He has NO IN GAME SAVVY at all! Same with DICK
