A Great Win...let's be real
yes, we should have won by more... yes, that was frustrating to end up biting nails when we shoulda been downing a celebratory beer...No, we can't trust Suisham.. But god damn, we put a hurt on the Pats... a bunch of young guys stepped up... LeBeau and Arians both called different, aggressive games... So let's just celebrate for a night and resume picking it apart tomorrow...

Make no mistake, this was an asswhipping applied by the Black and Gold but the fact that NE was still in the game late in the 4th is a concern. If there is a rematch in the postseason the Stillers are going to need killer instinct to offset the fact that Belichoke will most likely out maneuver Tomlin with adjustments now that he is armed with this game tape. I'm not ready to get down on Suisham for his 4th Q miss, the guy has been money for the most part since he came over. Heath for Hard Hat!

As for the change in D scheemes, I really don't think LeBeau felt he had the guys to play man coverage until now. Lewis, Gay and Allen were not playing like this. Credit maturity, Lake or a combination but it puts them in much better space.
And I look forward to reading how Woodley dogged himself into an injury.

Add a 3rd "Aye!" to this one.......you can't play a much better game than he did.

Ike Taylor should also be considered for hard hat by removing Wes Welker from the game. It is easy to forget about this because the announcers didn't call their names that much.

Re: A Great Win...let's be real
The only good thing about a bad win against the Pats is that most of the team leaders were talking about how they should have done more. So hopefully they have this fear in their heads that their mistakes will eventually catch up with them. They have been getting better, and that D was a good sign that LeBeau is willing to game plan for teams.
That being said, I am scared to death of Suisham and Arians on this team. Arian's last 2 play calls were atrocish and were a reminder that he will always go for the cute play/drive than the one that will get the win. I am glad the Raven's have such a one dimensional offense, because when Bruce struggles against the pressure of the Crows' D, it may not cost us much.

Look for a lot of dink n dunk west coast passing today to replace the run, and even BA may not have such a tough time with the Maven's D.
