"It's also apparent that Woodley should be moved to the inside; perhaps as early as next season. He's just too damn big to be as effective as he could or should be on the edge. Hell, he's now the size of Levon Kirkland and can't possibly be worse than Farrior or Foote."
Still CA Still, 10/11/11.

Glad to see we agree on this one, Palmer although Timmons has to step it up a damn sight better than he has so far. I believe Wood is a better cover backer inside than out-certainly better than Foote-while Timmons' athleticism is being wasted inside.

Moving Woodley to the inside would mean that in this defense he would have to pick up running backs for pass coverage and that would be a true clusterfuck worse than watching Farrior attempt it. Big LaMarr would be beaten by the time the back crossed the LOB.

Also I wouldn't put too much faith in Ben R. to be able to carry the team in big games especially against top flight qbs. He often comes up short against the Bradys of the league when you hope he can shoot it out with them.

Finally this round of cream puff opponents masks the underlying problems with the long term future of the Steelers.
